W przypadku uzupełnień protetycznych na zatrzaskach wstępny projekt i ocena dostępnej przestrzeni odgrywają podstawową rolę w uzyskaniu pozytywnych rezultatów leczenia. Technik dentystyczny często musi mierzyć się ze skomplikowanymi problemami, a interweniuje dopiero na etapie, kiedy wszystko jest już gotowe. W innych sytuacjach musi zajmować się przypadkami, gdzie występują wcześniej wszczepione implanty, przez cały czas starając się ograniczać koszty. Pozycja implantów może od razu determinować wybór uzupełnienia protetycznego o podparciu mieszanym (na implantach i na śluzówce) lub opartego wyłącznie na implantach. |
