Analiza zastosowań najnowszej generacji lasera erbowo-yagowego Lite-Touch z punktu widzenia ergonomii

słowa kluczowe:

Lite-Touch, laser erbowo-yagowy, ergonomia w stomatologii, technika pracy na 4 ręce, technika pracy na 6 rąk

streszczenie:

Artykuł przedstawia najnowszej generacji laser erbowo-yagowy Lite-Touch.

Analysis of the Ergonomic Aspects of Using Lite-Touch,  the Latest Generation of Erbium:YAG Lasers

key words:

Lite-Touch, Erbium:YAG laser, dental ergonomics, four handed dentistry, six handed dentistry

summary:

The paper presents Lite-Touch – an Erbium:YAG laser of the latest generation. The greatest achievement of this device is that it has the head (a place where the laser action takes place) built into a very light module. Thanks to this construction, the laser beam, which is generated in the head, does not have to travel through a multi-wrist-arm device or the optical fibre of a laser, causing a loss of energy, but it travels a short distance equal to the length of a hand-piece. Thanks to this innovative solution the laser beam keeps its original shape as well as maintaining the proper distribution of energy to a given unit in the field of operation. The ergonomic aspect of the device shows that it is the most operator-friendly laser of all the Erbium:YAG laser devices built so far and used in dentistry since 1997.

All the aspects of the Lite-Touch laser device given in this lecture apply to the ergonomic features of its use and provide a comparative analysis between a Lite-Touch laser and other devices of this kind where laser beams are conducted through multi-wrist-arm configurations in team working techniques of four and six handed dentistry.
